After you create 600+ ornaments for a book it’s hard to resist creating a new one when you sketch an idea out. I created this one while illustrating an idea the other night and decided to flesh out another bonus ornament sheet designers can download and take for a test drive.

Riveting Textures


Tillamook Air Museum 1942.

A while back we visited the Tillamook Air Museum which is housed in Hanger B, the worlds largest clear-span wooden structure in the world. It was built to house blimps during WWII and now houses a diverse range of planes and airships.

Where ever I go, I look for textures. It’s a good creative habit. Hanger B didn’t just contain a lot of cool vintage aircraft, It also housed a bunch of cool textures which I’ve captured in this new set.
